So I thought id post this article I was reading today, its been everywhere on the news. The Government want to up the tax on all downloads including music to 20% from 3%. In my opinion this is a big mistake, I only download music a couple of few times a year (I like to have the physical thing) so this wont really effect me but with prices going up so will pirated downloads. Many people can afford to pay the 99p it is at the minute for a song on iTunes but when that price goes up by 20% will people still be willing to pay for their downloads. I dont think so.

Just found these gems on Soundcloud. There both new tracks from the Kaiser Chiefs. The first is called Bows and Arrows and the second is called Misery Company. Both tracks are taken from the Kaiser Chiefs' new album Education, Education, Education and war which is due to be released March 31st in the UK. To me both the new tracks have a blur/oasis feel to them especially Bows and Arrows. This will be their first studio album since 'The future is medieval' released in 2011. If the rest of the album sounds anything like these 2 tracks then we are in for a treat. Keep and ear out!
